There is another St Laurence Church in Northfield, Birmingham, please do not go there! Not only will you miss the wedding, you'll have to then spend the day in Northfield.
The Church has a big car park, and there'll be some “glamorous” assistants on the day to help you find a spot. The car park starts on School Lane (w3w: friend.twin.length)
If there is no more room at the church, there's a car park in the village five minutes walk away. If you park there, don't follow Google Maps walking directions to get to the church, instead, walk across Bear Hill and up Church Walk (past the war memorial), and this will put you out in the back of the Church.
If you're getting the train, it's a 15 minute walk away from Alvechurch station, which is served regularly out of Birmingham New Street.
We ask that everyone makes their own way to Brockencote Hall straight after the church ceremony, which is a 30 minute drive away. Google Maps link to Brockencote Hall
If you were planning on not driving, there will be enough people to give lifts. If you'd prefer to try and “reserve” a spot, please let us know and we'll try to arrange nearer the time.
There is plenty of parking available at Brockencote, please follow signs/staff on arrival to get to the right place.
The venue is in between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster, which both have plenty of hotels and are a 10-15 minute drive to the venue.
There are some rooms at the hotel but they are mostly reserved for family. If you find yourself in a pinch close to the date please, please let us know.
The greatest gift you can give us is to turn up, have a great time, enjoy yourselves, and celebrate this big day of love with us.
If you wanted to bring a gift, we would kindly ask for monetary donations that we can use towards our honeymoon.
Unfortuntely we are pretty restricted on our numbers which is capped by the venue, so in most cases we won't be able to accomodate +1's, or any extras not named on your invitation.
If you'd love to bring someone else, please ask us nearer the time once we've had chance for guests to RSVP, and we have a better idea of numbers.
The party will end at the strike of midnight, so it's probably a good idea to prebook a taxi with a local company in Bromsgrove or Kidderminster for then. Uber does run out there, but your mileage may very at that time.
